I had my car serviced here in the past with great experiences. My "other"shop had told me I needed control arms. My husband said I should reach out to Honest One for a quote. The man on the phone said they would need to look at my car to see what exactly was needed. During the conversation, I asked two times what the cost would be, and he skirted the question. Service was exceptional! Tania was amazing and incredibly helpful! She really cared that I was getting the best prices possible and also showed me how to change my cabin air filter. Wonderful place!
It was time for new break pads and I had heard great things about this place. I get quoted $1200 for rear break pads and rotors!! And also told I need a complete break fluid flush. I decided to go to a smaller mechanic and was told I only needed one rotor on the rear and my break fluid was perfectly fine. This place tries to scam don’t go here!!
The name “Honest” doesn’t reflect their service. I went to do my 30k service ($600) after 2 hours, they sent me an email with all the “Requires Intimidate Action” I called them and the assistant told me that they need to wait for my APPROVAL to do it, I told him I will consult first and call back! After 5’ I called back telling them that I didn’t want to do the service because it wasn’t critical and realized they did the service without asking me! I called to talk to the manager Berry was he was very disrespectful.
Update: I got a refund for $50 because the price in the system was apparently not adjusted properly. The owner cares about his customers. Thanks Butch. Staff and waiting area are nice but I just got charged $200 for a standard oil change. Price breakdown was $130 for oil. The same oil is $20 at Walmart. I feel like I just got scammed. I guess bring your own oil if you want to get an oil change done here cause otherwise you’ll get overcharged.
