Needing to get my tires swapped out seasonally as a lot of places were booked. Got in, and I was estimated an hour and a half to switch out tires. A bit long in my opinion, as where I've gone previously usually takes an hour or less, even during afternoons, but I can understand. Ended up leaving 2 hours later. However, I'm a bit disappointed that my seasonal tire change compared to other places was $164 with tax. With chain tire shops costing almost half of that, I do think this is very steep. I cannot say enough positive things about my experience here!! From my first phone call everyone I worked with was helpful, honest and kind. A huge thank you to Chris who made me feel comfortable and never pressured me into fixing additional areas. Joseph and Josh were also very nice to work with. I highly recommend using their services — especially if you’re a woman looking for a pressure-free and trustworthy shop.

Golden Valley Tires really impressed me. They were able to get me in quickly for an alignment and treated me with respect from start to finish. They didn’t try to tack on unnecessary charges or upsell me on things I didn’t need. They checked my suspension for worn parts — as any good alignment shop should — without charging me extra for it. Tire service was good. They were able to get me a tire in 24 hours and back on the road. Unfortunately though, my battery died and I needed one fast, and I was already behind schedule with my car being sidelined for 24 hours. They were able to sell me a new battery, which was great, but the price was outrageous, which is why I'm only leaving a four star review. I would have given them a five. The battery was really, really expensive. Go there for tires, if you need a battery, pick it up at a battery place. Cheers!

this place is great. i had to have my timing belt replaced and compared prices at a few places in town; gv tire was the best price, easily. they did a great job with the repair (the car is running excellently) and were transparent about what else may need to be done (without forcing the issue.) regarding future repairs, i was told that the cost of the diagnostic (super reasonable; and, again, the best price i found) counts towards the cost of the repair ~~ which rules; not every shop does this! definitely grateful and will ... read more
