I have been using Dowdy’s for various service work on my cars and trucks for several years. I found their work to be very well done. Scheduling has been easy and they’ve always explained to me what they’re going to do and what it’s estimated to cost. I found they do very good work and are easy to work with..
This team of people are great. I have had countless issues and been back and forth with them to get my car running and reliable, and they were supportive and easy to work with during the whole process. They are transparent with their work and have been trustworthy through my many years of working with them, regardless which location I went to. Highly recommend!
Took my car there because one injector was misfiring, they had it for 3 days and they did diagnostics and changed the spark plugs and and coils. The problem wasn't fixed but they charged me $1500 and said the next best thing would be to change all the injectors. At that point i was pissed off because they kept telling me what their machine was saying and the next best thing as if i have money laying around to fix every next best thing. a little over a week ago, the "ball joint" on my car, just fell off while I was backing out of Home Depot on Federal Way. I am not from Boise, so I went back into Home Depot (leaving my car in the middle of the road since it was not drivable) and asked the staff if they knew of a good automotive garage and they recommended Dowdy's which was LITERALLY right down the road.
