I recently visited Conrad’s Tire Express & Total Car Care in Cleveland Heights and had a great experience. The staff was professional, the shop was well-organized, and the service was top-notch. I especially want to highlight Elijah, who took the time to ensure everything was done perfectly. His expertise and clear communication made the process smooth and stress-free. It’s hit or miss. I’ve had good service there and misdiagnosis, as well. The last time I went there, the Indian told me that I need Tie rods ($1,000) repair. I didn’t have the money so I didn’t get it done. I was planning to go back and get the work done when I got the money. In the meantime, I had a minor but important issue come up with my car, I took it to Sharpe Auto Repair on Mayfield. They took care of it of the issue. I will start with what was good. The price was excellent for 4 tires and an alignment. The gentleman at the counter with the beard was awesome and helpful. I brought my car for what should take 1-1.5 hours. I took a walk thinking it would be done by the time I got back. I got back at 2 and waited an additional 2 hours. I talked to the other gentleman at the counter asking if my car would be done by 4 as I had another appointment at 4. He assured me that I would make that appointment. And here we are. OVER A MONTH LATER and I am still waiting to hear back from the store manager/corporate. Had my tires done here and they didn't tighten or maybe even missed putting the lug nuts back on one of my tires. Needless to say the tire fell off my car. I started by getting a tow and going to another shop. The tow driver stated that it looked like the lug nuts were not tightened or were never put on. The mechanic at the other shop agreed. Horrendous experience this past June. I made an appointment for noon on a Wednesday, due to needing an oil change and a check engine light. Did not receive a call until 5Pm on Thursday, when a tech said that I needed my turbo replaced, and they couldn’t do an oil change until they replaced the turbo, and that they would call for a quote on Friday.
