Love how knowledgeable and kind this place is. I brought my car in for a brake inspection and quickly they let me know I was good and not only that, I was charged a reasonable price when they could have charge me full price for a general inspection. I noticed the small things and really appreciate the things they do for me. My car will be coming here as long as I have it. So trustworthy, give great tips, and very friendly. Take your car here. I don't love having to do maintenance on my car, whether its regular or otherwise, but I do love this shop! Being a woman, there is always the fear/anticipation of being talked down to, or taken advantage of, when entering any sort of mechanic shop, etc., but here I have only been taken care of- the relationships that you build and the way that you treat people are as important as the work that you do, and this place does great work and treats people well. I recently stopped by this shop for a routine oil change, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The service was incredibly friendly and welcoming—it’s clear they genuinely care about their customers. The shop has been a staple in the neighborhood for over 40 years, and it shows in their professionalism and attention to detail. We were in town from Indiana for several appointments at U of C hospital on a Friday. We left early from home and got a bad flat tire a few miles from the hospital. We called around lunch time and Allan and Bobby at City Tire found a way to get the tire we needed (even thought they didn't have one in stock) and get us back on the road before the end of the day. It was a blessing to find them and they treated us amazingly well. I highly recommend these guys!
