They said my air conditioner was broken and it was shavings in it and all kinds of bullshit showed me some shavings that were in the line. I don’t know what they did but I got the problem fixed for $200. They wanted $2900 to fix my car they rip off big time you never take your car there. I’m surprised they didn’t put shavings in my system. I had a good friend that does AC drain it all and make sure they didn’t put any shavings in it so it shut down. I had a flat tire and came into Chapman Auto Repair. They took me in right away, diagnosed the problem immediately, and had it fixed within minutes, while also providing me and my kids a shaded comfortable place to wait. They were friendly, kind, and professional, and I noticed their team working hard on people's vehicles. This place is a total rip off, I brought in y car for a brake inspection. They charge me $450 dollars for it they DID NOTHING! they argue that the total repair cost would be $4000, they said that the part alone cost $2000. I decided to get get my car inspected at the dealer they charge me $210 for the same exact check up. Total cost at the dealer was suppose to be around $3500, even cheaper by better warranty. This place is a joke. Let me be clear, the mechanic who fixed the issue I would recommend, the service manager Alan is the joke. Lets put this to a vote. If the flat rate to diagnose a car is $120. That is what should be expected in the final bill? Nope, Alan jacked the "flat" rate to $240.00 because they kept the car 2 days. Not once was the flat rate mention as "per day", and not once was I notified the flat rate was increased. They did diagnose my cars issue but they over charged me for the repairs.
