I originally brought my very old but low miles Toyota in for an oil change. It had been some time since I had the car looked at so bc I asked them to do a courtesy check. They called and told me my original (25+ years) steering pin was failing and should be replaced immediately. They were thorough in their explanation of why it was failing and included photos. They gave me an estimate and told me when I could expect it to be ready. Easy and smooth transaction.
Update December 2024: The shop called and offered me a free oil change to make up for my lost tire and overall experience. Very kind of them to do what they can to make things right. Appreciate the offer and will take them up on it. Honest and thorough shop. I have an old truck with a lot of problems and they bring up the obvious big items that need solving but don’t pressure you to get them done. I appreciate the online documentation of the problems with photos they provide everytime I bring my vehicle in. It’s something I can reference throughout the year.
Went in for change of snow tires. Said they would get it first thing in the morning. Came back next day before they opened, left car and went to Macrina Bakery to wait. Called them after two hours and was told they'd call when it was ready. I asked for time estimate and was told several more hours. Not going back for anything.
The folks here are very timely, professional and great at explaining processes and opinions. Came in to get my rear light fixed and they spotted some other necessary routine work in a very thorough and free evaluation that came with a clearly outlined report and plenty of organized photos and pricing breakdowns. Happy with the work they got done for me and would return to them again for future car work :)
